MTS Technik Coilover Suspension Street / Inox – Toyota Corolla E12 (XMTSGWTO05)
Product Overview
The MTS Technik Street Series Inox Coilover Kit (XMTSGWTO05) is the ultimate suspension system for Corolla owners seeking the perfect middle ground between vehicle stance, sharp handling, and maximum corrosion defense. Available at JDMaster.net, this upgraded kit features world-renowned Eibach lowering springs paired with custom-valved twin-tube gas-oil struts housed in elite Inox stainless steel bodies. Designed as a direct bolt-in upgrade, the Street/Inox configuration delivers a composed, firm, and confidence-inspiring drive while ensuring your adjustment threads remain rust-free for life.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Premium Inox Stainless Steel Housing: Engineered with premium stainless steel strut bodies for absolute resistance against road salt, harsh winter weather, and moisture, preventing thread seizing over time.
-
World-Class Eibach Engineered Springs: Features custom-wound main springs from Eibach Germany, providing unparalleled material longevity, minimal production tolerances, and superior deflection stability.
-
Patented hexaCOIL Spring Perches: Equipped with an innovative hexagonal height-adjustment collar that stops dirt accumulation and eliminates the seizing common in lower-tier coilover designs.
-
Dual-Tube Gas-Oil Infrastructure: Premium twin-tube shock design combines high-pressure nitrogen gas with advanced hydraulic oil, completely eliminating fluid “foaming” to maintain consistent damping during spirited driving.
-
Extended-Life Polyurethane (PUR) Bump Stops: Upgraded bump stops provide progressive impact dampening at extreme suspension compression, outlasting standard factory rubber stops.
-
Versatile Height Adjustment Range: Drop the front axle by 15–65mm and the rear axle by 20–80mm to eliminate ugly wheel gap and optimize your aerodynamic center of gravity.
-
Two-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty: Manufactured entirely in Europe under strict quality control standards, backed by a comprehensive 2-year manufacturer warranty.

The Mechanical Advantage: Inox Longevity Meets Progressive Spring Damping
Many entry-level coilovers achieve a lower ride height simply by utilizing overly stiff springs housed in low-grade steel casings that rust after a single winter season. MTS Technik takes an entirely different engineering approach. By choosing an Inox stainless steel housing, the struts remain immune to the chemical oxidation caused by road salt and moisture, ensuring your height adjustment threads stay pristine and functional for years.
On the performance front, MTS Technik partners with Eibach to deploy progressive-rate springs. These springs remain compliant over minor road ripples but naturally stiffen up when compressed under hard braking or cornering loads. MTS Technik engineers precisely calibrate the internal valving of the twin-tube struts to match these exact spring rates. Under low-velocity inputs (like highway cruising), the oil passes smoothly through the internal shim stacks for a comfortable ride. When you snap the car into a sharp turn, the valving instantly resists high-velocity fluid transit, clamping down on body roll and keeping your tire footprints flat against the pavement.
Professional Installation & Alignment Advice
Wheel Clearance & Realignment Notice: Lowering a vehicle alters its factory steering geometry, tracking parameters, and suspension arm layout. A professional four-wheel laser alignment is strictly mandatory immediately following installation to prevent uneven tire wear.
Due to the increased outer diameter of aftermarket coilover springs, a minimum clearance gap of 5mm must be maintained between the tire sidewall/inner wheel rim lip and the new suspension strut body. If your custom wheel offset causes contact or drops below this 5mm threshold, certified hub-centric wheel spacers must be installed. To ensure your coilovers are clocked correctly, book an installation slot at our JDMaster.net workshop.
