MTS Technik Coilover Suspension Street / Inox – Subaru / Toyota (XMTSGWTO02)
Product Overview
The MTS Technik Street Series Inox Coilover Kit (XMTSGWTO02) is an engineered height-adjustable suspension program developed for the ZC6, ZN6, ZN8, and ZD8 chassis. Available at JDMaster.net, this premium street-focused package integrates world-renowned Eibach lowering springs inside bulletproof Inox stainless steel strut bodies. Designed for drivers who demand a significant upgrade in handling precision without introducing a punishing, harsh ride, the XMTSGWTO02 configuration reuses your vehicle’s factory top mounts for smooth, isolated daily operation while giving you full control over your ride height and lowering profile.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Balanced Street Series Calibration: Custom configured by MTS Technik engineers to deliver the ultimate middle ground—limiting excessive body roll during high-speed transitions while retaining daily driving comfort.
-
Premium Inox Stainless Steel Casing: Engineered with elite stainless steel strut housings for absolute resistance against road salt, road grit, and winter moisture, ensuring height adjustment threads remain rust-free for life.
-
Bespoke Eibach Engineered Springs: Pre-assembled with custom-wound sport lowering springs from Eibach Germany, guaranteeing minimum production tolerances and exceptional deflection strength.
-
Patented anti-seize hexaCOIL Perches: Utilizes an innovative hexagonal spring collar design that prevents road debris from packing into the threads, eliminating the binding and locking common in lower-tier coilover systems.
-
Twin-Tube Gas-Oil Infrastructure: Pressurized nitrogen gas combined with high-grade hydraulic oil prevents fluid cavitation and foaming under repetitive, high-velocity piston stroke variations.
-
Optimized Height Adjustability: Lowers the front axle by 15–50mm and the rear axle by 20–55mm, dropping the vehicle’s roll center and closing up unappealing wheel arch gap.
-
Extended-Life Polyurethane (PUR) Bump Stops: Upgraded progressive bump stops provide structural protection under sudden suspension travel compression, outlasting traditional factory rubber stops.

The Mechanical Advantage: Street Sophistication Meets Inox Durability
Unlike unplated steel or basic zinc-coated coilovers that corrode after a single winter season, the Inox stainless steel construction of the XMTSGWTO02 guarantees your investment is protected. The threaded bodies stand up to moisture and road grit, ensuring that adjusting your ride height years down the line is just as smooth as the day you installed them. Combined with the composite hexaCOIL spring perches, height adjustment requires minimal effort and completely eliminates the risk of metal-on-metal binding.
Performance tuning is handled via an optimized combination of Eibach progressive-rate springs and MTS Technik twin-tube valving. During normal highway driving, the suspension absorbs small road seams and potholes smoothly by letting the progressive portion of the spring handle small vibrations. When pushed into hard cornering transitions, the valving instantly resists high-velocity oil transit, working in harmony with the stiffer spring rates to minimize body roll. The resulting suspension dynamics keep the car flat, predictable, and firmly planted through technical apexes.
Professional Installation & Alignment Advice
Clearance Check & Laser Alignment: Lowering your ride height fundamentally changes your vehicle’s toe and tracking geometry. A professional four-wheel laser alignment is strictly mandatory immediately following installation to prevent rapid, uneven tire wear.
Due to the wider diameter of aftermarket coilover spring perches compared to factory struts, a minimum clearance gap of 5mm must be maintained between the inner tire sidewall and the coilover strut body. If you are running wide wheels or aggressive offsets that drop below this 5mm threshold, hub-centric wheel spacers must be used.
