MTS Technik Coilover Suspension Street / Inox – Honda Accord VII (CL/CN) (XMTSGWHO08)
Product Overview
The MTS Technik Street Series Inox Coilover Kit (XMTSGWHO08) delivers a premium, height-adjustable suspension overhaul designed explicitly for the 2003–2008 Honda Accord VII. Available globally at JDMaster.net, the Street Series represents the default, most versatile configuration from MTS Technik’s engineering labs. By balancing sport-tuned handling with smooth everyday compliance, this kit eliminates unsightly wheel gap while preserving the executive, refined ride comfort that makes this sports sedan a joy to daily drive.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Street Series Calibration: Meticulously valved to eliminate severe nose-dive under hard braking and heavy body sway during dynamic lane changes, all without introducing an unforgiving or bone-shattering ride on broken urban pavement.
-
Inox Stainless Steel Struts: Features high-grade stainless steel shock bodies for absolute, permanent defense against wet conditions, mud, and road grime—ensuring your alignment rings spin completely free for easy ride-height adjustments years down the line.
-
Performance Springs by Eibach Germany: Equipped with custom main and helper springs engineered and wound out of premium high-tensile steel by Eibach. These setups provide uniform load management and exceptional settling properties that completely resist sagging under load.
-
Patented anti-seize hexaCOIL Perches: Employs an innovative single hexagonal composite spring collar. The design naturally clears road grit away from the threaded body, putting an end to the frozen or completely seized collars common to legacy dual-locking metal setups.
-
Twin-Tube Gas-Oil Infrastructure: Low-pressure nitrogen gas actively compresses the hydraulic fluid reservoir to eliminate fluid cavitation and oil foaming during high-frequency piston cycles, maintaining predictable damping force.
-
High-Density Polyurethane (PUR) Bump Stops: Advanced progressive bump stops cushion the internal piston assemblies smoothly during deep compression strokes, shielding your internal valving from sudden surface impacts.

The Mechanical Advantage: Preserving Double-Wishbone Agility
The seventh-generation Accord stands apart from standard commuter cars due to its highly sophisticated double-wishbone front suspension and independent multi-link rear network. When dropping this platform on basic lowering springs alone, the factory shocks quickly run out of travel, resulting in an unsettled, bouncy ride because the dampers cannot properly control the altered suspension stroke.
The MTS Technik Street Series solves this specific engineering hurdle by matching short-stroke, gas-pressurized dampers directly with a dedicated 90 N/mm front and 50 N/mm rear Eibach main spring configuration. Supported by progressive helper springs on both axles, the assembly ensures the springs stay firmly preloaded even under rapid body extension, such as sudden mid-corner drops or hard acceleration weight shifts. This levels out cornering lean, settles the chassis immediately out of dips, and delivers a highly predictable, confidence-inspiring performance feel.
Professional Installation & Alignment Advice
Clearances & Post-Install Alignment: Dropping your chassis ride height significantly modifies tracking, camber, and toe angles on the multi-link suspension network. A professional 4-wheel laser alignment is strictly mandatory immediately following installation to ensure high-speed tracking stability and protect your performance tires from uneven wear.
Due to the wider barrel profile of aftermarket coilover springs relative to thin factory struts, a minimum clearance gap of 5mm must be checked between the inner tire sidewall/wheel rim and the coilover body. If you are running high-offset original rims or aggressive custom aftermarket wheels that reduce this gap below 5mm, high-quality hub-centric wheel spacers are required. Plan your build cleanly by scheduling an installation appointment at our fully equipped JDMaster.net workshop.
