Proper Bed-In Procedure

To achieve maximum performance and prevent rotor glazing, follow Hawk’s recommended bed-in procedure immediately after installation:

1. Perform 6 to 10 stops from approximately 50-60 km/h with moderate pressure.

2. Perform an additional 2 to 3 hard stops from approximately 65-70 km/h.

3. Do not come to a complete stop during these steps.

4. Allow the brakes to cool down for 15+ minutes by driving normally without heavy braking.
