These GiroDisc rear rotors are approx 3,2kg lighter per rotor then the stock units. GiroDisc 5,0kg vs. 8,2kg for the stock units. To allow these rotors to be installed the OE brake pads need to be adjusted; a small portion on the bottom of the backing plates of the outer brake pads needs to be removed. A instruction sheet regarding this adjustment is provided with these rotors.
