It took us way too long to continue working on the car, for several circumstances but this gave us the opportunity to order a lot of suspension-chassis related parts.
Until we get them all , we started working with some cosmetic modifications making the front headlights tinted to a light dark gunmetal look which is very nice and modifying the rear bumper adding our newly designed air diffuser aluminium plates ……and a few more stuff.
Let’s have a look.
This was the outcome once we completed the headlight tinting. It’s really nice from close view, not too dark in order to have correct lighting but in the same time a great mod for a easy and cheap styling add on. We may do the same tinting to the taillights.Maybe..
For the rear bumper, we had our custom design aluminum diffuser plates which are specially designed for the integra to suit the bumper dimensions because of the license plate at the middle we had to make it fit properly. So , our design went direct to the cnc manufacture and a day after we received the first prototypes.
We thought it would be good to get them painted black or wrinkle paint but instead of that, we had them carbon vinyl wrapped. By the time we put them on and as long as the bumper was stripped we took it a little further. The bumper have a few scratches and paint flakes so we said let’s make it “ghetto” We cutted a little blocked space from the bottom of the bumper in order to release the inside incoming air even more and also we carbon wrapped the bottom of the bumper and the license holding plate. I personally like it.
This was the outcome once we completed the bumper modding
Back on the car, looking nice and agreesive.
The Password:JDM rear tow hook was the most suitable tow hook we could get for the car. Great aluminum manufacture in black finish with the password jdm logo , is for sure a great add on at the rear end. These are not only looking nice, but also have a practical reason for those that are familiar with the use of them. If you left over , on the street or at a track circuit, these tow hooks can help you tow the car properly and get it back on.
Now the rear end of the car is nicely modded but a few fancy parts are still missing which will for sure make it look nice even more. For which parts I’m talking about? Let’s say some aluminium F7 rear lower control arms, aluminum tie bar, etc…These are also on our hands and will be fitted with all the suspension/chassis parts later on.
Stay tuned , the serious mods didn’t even started!! By the time I’m typing this, on the way there are a lot of energy suspension bushings , new steering rack tie rod ends inner / track tie rod ends , new dust boots, Skunk2 camber kits for front-rear and of curse a coilover suspension. 80% of these parts are on our hands and probably in a few days we will get the rest and get them sorted the sooner possible.
