We are back on # Part 2 of our Motorsport weekend in UK, in a sunny Sunday morning.
The first round of BTCC ! The UK’s biggest car racing championship and stars highly-modified saloons and hatchbacks similar to those seen on the nation’s roads.
We gone straight into Brands Hatch circuit to see the spectacular race of BTTC as well as features supporting action from the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Renault UK Clio Cup, Ginetta GT Supercup, Ginetta Juniors and MSA Formula. But let’s just focuse on the BTCC race which for us is the most interesteing race of our whole weekend.
We where on time to Brands Hatch and we found out this miles before from the huge line up of cars waiting to enter.
Of curse the main entrance before you get a step into the circuit, was filled with Honda fans looking into the official Honda display.
As it was expected the main focuse was….the new Honda Civic Type-r turbo!
Once again, i’m going to let pictures do the justice. Enjoy!
Next to this street weapon, was sitting the Honda Yuasa racing BTTC version Honda Civic.
Around these beutiful cars, Honda had as well some of their new models of cars / bikes.
The time was up, getting ready to see the first battle round of the BTCC. We where super excited to see these car in close action, plus plenty of bumper-to-bumper racing on track! But in this case, believe us that pictures don’t do justice. You have to see and feel these cars live from close, their racing sound is pure amazing. That revving sound of their engines, the flat shift changes with backfire, the launch control at the starting grid. This sound combination, coming in different shapes from Honda, Infiniti, Ford, and BMW which where represented on a grid of more than thirty cars.
Ready Steady ….GO!!!
The new Subaru Levorg ! Great race car entry from Subaru, with a really impressive engine sound, much more different from any other car on the field. Boxer screamer!
Halford Honda racing team drivers, signing autographs on Honda fans after their race wining.
Brands Hatch, not only offering you a variety of races to see but also inside the facilities you can see some of their shops and other exhibitors that took place in for the racing weekend.
A few last pics, outside Brands Hatch at the parcking area. A lot of cool cars out there.
That’s all folks! Thank you for watching our Motorsport weekend trip in UK. Hope you liked our coverage and maybe we will get back to UK at some point for more motorsport!
