MTS Technik Coilover Suspension Street / Inox – Nissan 370Z Z34 (XMTSGWNI02)
Product Overview
The MTS Technik Street Series Inox Coilover Kit (XMTSGWNI02) is a height-adjustable suspension system specifically engineered for the 2009–2021 Nissan 370Z Coupe and Roadster. Available at JDMaster.net, the Street Series serves as the default configuration from MTS Technik engineers. Unlike ultra-stiff, punishing track setups, this kit is specifically valved to deliver responsive chassis control and flat cornering while retaining enough compliance for high-quality everyday road comfort.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Optimal Street Series Balancing: Specifically tuned to combine sport performance with everyday usability. Enjoy minimized body roll and sharp steering feedback during spirited weekend driving without a harsh, unforgiving ride on daily commutes.
-
Premium Inox Stainless Steel Struts: Built using high-grade stainless steel shock housings for elite, long-lasting corrosion resistance against moisture, road grime, and salt—ensuring your adjustment threads remain fully functional for the life of the kit.
-
Engineered Springs by Eibach Germany: Equipped with custom main and helper springs manufactured by Eibach. Utilizing high-tensile steel alloys, these springs deliver precise rates and resist sagging over seasons of demanding performance driving.
-
Patented anti-seize hexaCOIL Perches: Features an innovative single hexagonal composite spring collar. The design actively sheds dirt and road grit from the shock threads, completely eliminating the seized adjustment rings typical of traditional dual-locking metal designs.
-
Twin-Tube Gas-Oil Infrastructure: Low-pressure nitrogen gas compresses the hydraulic fluid to prevent internal oil aeration and cavitation, securing uniform damping force through prolonged cornering or aggressive street maneuvers.
-
Versatile Lowering Ranges: Fine-tune your Z34’s stance with an adjustable drop range of 5–40mm on the front axle and 15–55mm on the rear axle to perfectly dial in your favorite wheel-to-fender clearance.
-
High-Density Polyurethane (PUR) Bump Stops: Advanced progressive bump stops protect the shock internals from bottoming out during heavy compression while remaining durable across extreme temperature ranges.

The Mechanical Advantage: Compliant Control for the VQ37 Platform
Upgrading a high-torque, front-midship V6 chassis like the 370Z with standard lowering springs often leads to a mismatched, under-damped ride because the stock shocks cannot handle the altered travel. The MTS Technik Street Series solves this by pairing matched Eibach springs directly with optimally valved dampers.
By utilizing a dedicated 80 N/mm rear spring combined with an agile helper assembly, the suspension maintains constant spring seat pressure even during quick weight transitions or when dropping into dips. Body sway is heavily reduced, allowing the chassis to settle instantly out of a turn. This provides the driver with precise lateral control and highly predictable handling characteristics, all while retaining a premium ride quality that is well-suited for extended highway cruising or daily road irregularities.
Professional Installation & Alignment Advice
Geometry Alignment & Clearances: Dropping the Z34 suspension geometry shifts the factory front camber and rear suspension toe settings. A comprehensive professional four-wheel laser alignment is highly mandatory immediately after installation to protect your performance tires and guarantee stable tracking at high speeds.
Due to the optimized, performance-oriented outer diameter of aftermarket coilover springs, a minimum clearance gap of 5mm must be maintained between the inner wheel barrel/tire sidewall and the coilover strut housing. If you are running high-offset or aggressive aftermarket wheels that cross within this 5mm threshold, premium hub-centric wheel spacers must be used. Secure your installation by scheduling an alignment appointment at our fully equipped JDMaster.net workshop.
