MTS Technik Coilover Suspension Street / Inox – Infiniti G / Nissan 350Z (XMTSGWNI01)
Product Overview
The MTS Technik Street Series Inox Coilover Kit (XMTSGWNI01) is a premium, height-adjustable suspension system specifically engineered for the 2002–2009 Nissan 350Z and Infiniti G35 platforms. Available globally at JDMaster.net, the Street Series is the definitive, all-around configuration recommended by MTS Technik engineers. This kit replaces aged factory components with high-performance dampers and Eibach lowering springs, offering sports car composure under load while preserving maximum comfort for long highway road trips and daily commutes.
Key Features & Benefits
-
Balanced Street Series Valving: The ideal mix of sport performance and everyday ride compliance. Drastically minimizes high-speed body roll and sharpens entry steering response without creating a harsh or bumpy ride on standard roads.
-
Premium Inox Stainless Steel Struts: Built with high-grade stainless steel shock housings for elite, long-lasting corrosion protection. Threads remain perfectly clear and adjustable through rain, mud, and harsh winter road salt.
-
Performance-Engineered Springs by Eibach Germany: Equipped with custom main and helper springs wound out of high-tensile steel alloys by Eibach. These springs offer stable, consistent compression rates that resist sagging over thousands of miles of intense use.
-
Patented anti-seize hexaCOIL Perches: Utilizes an innovative single hexagonal composite spring collar. The design naturally sheds road grit and dirt from the shock threads during height adjustments, entirely preventing the seized locking rings typical of traditional metal designs.
-
Twin-Tube Gas-Oil Architecture: Low-pressure nitrogen gas compresses the internal oil reservoir to eliminate fluid cavitation and aeration. This ensures consistent, fade-free damping pressure through prolonged canyon drives or spirited street driving.
-
Generous Lowering Spectrum: Dial in the exact aesthetic your build requires, featuring an adjustable drop range of 0–50mm on the front axle and an expansive 10–80mm on the rear axle to perfectly level out your wheel arches.
-
High-Density Polyurethane (PUR) Bump Stops: Advanced progressive bump stops shield the inner piston assemblies from bottoming out, ensuring long-term structural durability over severe road imperfections.

The Mechanical Advantage: Control the Heavy V6 Nose with Precision
The heavy front-midship placement of the VQ35 V6 engine provides excellent rear traction but places significant stress on the front dampers during hard trail-braking. Standard lowering springs on stock shocks quickly lead to an under-damped, bouncy nose that can cause the front under-tray to scrape on highway dips.
The MTS Technik Street Series solves this by pairing matched Eibach front springs with custom-valved dampers. By maintaining a helper spring system on the threaded front body, the suspension keeps the main spring properly preloaded even during quick weight transitions or sudden drops in the road surface. This eliminates floatiness, limits brake dive, and delivers a confidence-inspiring, predictable feel that makes your 350Z or G35 feel incredibly light and responsive on its feet.
Professional Installation & Alignment Advice
Clearances & Alignment: Dropping the Z33/V35 suspension geometry significantly alters the factory front double-wishbone and rear multi-link alignment angles. A comprehensive, professional 4-wheel laser alignment is highly mandatory directly following installation to safeguard your performance tires and preserve straight-line stability.
Due to the upgraded, high-tensile profile of the Eibach coilover springs, a minimum safe clearance gap of 5mm must be maintained between the inner wheel barrel/tire sidewall and the coilover strut body. If you are running high-offset wheels or aggressive custom offsets that cross within this 5mm threshold, premium hub-centric wheel spacers are required. Plan your build cleanly by scheduling an installation appointment at our fully equipped JDMaster.net workshop.
