Description

Goodridge Stainless Steel Braided Brake Line Hoses Set

Upgrade your stopping power and eliminate the spongy pedal feel common in factory braking systems. The Goodridge Stainless Steel Braided Brake Line Hoses Set is the industry standard for drivers who demand immediate, reliable braking response under heavy street driving, track days, or spirited canyon runs.

While OEM rubber lines expand under pressure, Goodridge’s race-bred design ensures every ounce of pedal force goes directly to your calipers.

Why Upgrade to Goodridge Braided Lines?

Eliminate Pedal Sponge: Factory rubber hoses swell under braking pressure, causing a soft, delayed pedal feel. Goodridge lines feature a premium PTFE inner liner wrapped in braided stainless steel that completely resists expansion.
Sharper Braking Response: Experience a firm, highly communicative brake pedal. You will be able to modulate your brakes with precision, allowing for deeper braking zones and better car control.
Engineered for the Track, Built for the Street: This kit eliminates the risk of line expansion even under extreme temperatures where fluid approaches its boiling point.
Corrosion & Abrasion Protection: The stainless steel braid protects the inner hose from road debris, rocks, and extreme weather. Most kits feature a durable outer PVC sleeve to prevent the braid from chafing against chassis components.
100% Pressure Tested: Every single Goodridge line is pressure tested to ensure absolute reliability and leak-free performance straight out of the box.

The JDMaster Tech Tip: Brake lines are often overlooked during brake upgrades. If you are investing in high-performance pads and fluid but keeping old, rubber OEM lines, you are leaving massive stopping performance on the table. Pair this kit with high-boiling-point DOT 4 fluid for the ultimate pedal feel.

1.Verify & Prep:Before you begin.

Ensure the vehicle is securely raised on jack stands. Clean the area around your existing brake line fittings thoroughly to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system.

2.Remove the OEM Line:Handle with care.

Place a drip tray underneath the caliper. Use a dedicated flare nut wrench to loosen the hard line fitting to avoid stripping the nut. Disconnect the chassis clip, then remove the banjo bolt at the caliper.

3.Install the Goodridge Hose:Torque to spec.

Route the new Goodridge line exactly like the factory hose, ensuring it won’t bind or rub during full steering lock or suspension travel. Use the new copper crush washers provided, and torque the banjo bolt to factory specifications.

4.Bleed the System:Crucial safety step.

Once all lines are installed, perform a complete brake fluid flush and bleed procedure to purge all air from the system. Top off with fresh high-performance brake fluid.

Please note that banjo bolts are NOT included, but are readily available online.
